A Little background story about Mirage
Way back in 2000 after being in the music industry for 12 Years, David and Lynne met up to form the Duo Mirage. With David on Keys and Lynne on Vocals the band had years of success around the local pub and club scene and are well known to most venues in the central belt of Scotland.
Branching out a few years back into also hosting Karaoke meant we could then offer a mixed night of Cabaret, Karaoke and DJ Music to allow us to also cater for whatever the client wanted -- we called these "Cabaroke Nights" and to date have also been going down a storm for that something different for a nights entertainment.
Along the way Davids knowledge and skills at the mixing desk and live sound has resulted in many bookings to help out with live sound engineering and recording where 95% of the time we bring along our own high quality Midas powered Digital mixing Desks and amazing Mackie PA systems to nothing but compliments and praise on the quality of sound.
These same systems are what we use at any of our live events whether it be a large corporate event or karaoke - you get the same level of engineering and sound we have become famous for at every event - just ask the many karaoke singers who love it when they get a proper engineer "to make them sound good" as they put it lol.
Lynne left in March of 2020, and was replaced with the amazing Debbie Anne King. With her wealth of experience of touring with the Platters and the Magic Drifter, and performing in some of the biggest venues around the country it will be a welcome and fresh change to the Duo.
David has now took to recording more and more custom backing tracks at the request of many entertainers we have had the pleasure of working with over the years, even making karaoke tracks for those hard to find songs that have never been made before by the major manufacturers for customers who want that something no one else has.
Now with over 16 years of working together David and Lynne have parted ways, and with many years of Theatre and stage experience, Debbie Anne King has now joined David to keep the Mirage name running for many years to come
To add to the already amazing repertoire Debs and Dave have now joined forces with the Christian to add a new show called "Tracks Of My Years". Bookings are already coming in for this show, so book now to avoid disappointment.
To add to the vast array of show possibilities, a brand new show for 2023 is in the final stages of being organised with own Debbie Anne King called ------ King and Queen of Soultown.
